Join us for an open workshop with dancer Patric de Jesus | December 16, 5:00–7:00 p.m.
About the workshop:
Biosphere
During the workshop, Patrick will share the core principles of his physical practice—perception of time, animal-inspired movement, improvisation, and more—which together form a broad spectrum of movement qualities. By combining the principles of Capoeira Angola and craniosacral therapy, the dancer will invite participants to delve into the perception of flexibility and space, and to explore the state of weightlessness and the transformation of forms during contact exercises.
Inspired by the Jooss-Leeder method, Damien Jalet, Akram Khan, and Sita Ostheimer, Patrick will seek to expand the perception of the body’s movement possibilities.
Workshop fee: 20 EUR.
The workshop will take place at the Low Air Dance School (Gedimino pr. 2A, IIIa.)
