Kristina Klioštoraitytė, better known in the dance world by her stage name “FunkyKriss”, is a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher, active in the fields of street dance and performance. In 2025, she graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and received a bachelor’s degree. Kristina was born in Spain, where she spent her childhood until the age of 12. Her path to dance was inspired by her admiration for Michael Jackson – it was his performances and music videos that became the first impulse to express herself through movement. At the age of 13, Kristina moved to Lithuania, where she began to search for her place and found it in dance.
In 2015, she became interested in the Popping dance style – she attended her first lessons with Max Stroff, later continued her popping training with Monika Čibiraite (Popping Kozo). Later, in 2017, she became acquainted with the Locking dance style, which particularly attracted her due to its distinct visual identity – classic trousers, suspenders, and hats. As she herself has said: “I remember being interested in locking style because of the clothing – it immediately aroused curiosity. After trying it, I felt that this was what I was looking for.” Kristina studied this dance style in Lithuania with Emilis Pilionis, Ugnė Norkūnaitė, and Felix Aimable. Since then, Kristina has consistently developed her path as a dancer – actively attending dance classes, deepening her knowledge in workshops, becoming interested in various dance styles, and purposefully striving for professionalism.
In pursuit of deeper knowledge, she has repeatedly gone abroad to study – participating in international camps and festivals, such as:
* “Lock is not a joke” (France) – 2019, 2023, 2024
* “On the Level Camp” (France) – 2022
* “Infinity Force Camp” (Poland) – 2023
* “Summer Dance Forever” (The Netherlands) –2022
* “United session” (Poland) 2022, 2023
* “Lock the Block” (UK) 2019
Kristina has studied with many famous international dancers and choreographers: Hilty&Bosch, Joseph Go, Mr. Wiggles, Hoan, Alpha Omega Anderson, Diablo, Ruth Prim, Plock, Funky J, Kenzo, Candyman, Alex The Cage, etc.
Her dance path is characterized by constant curiosity, openness to new experiences and sincere dedication to art.
